Explore & More Children’s Museum will receive a donation from First Niagara for the first run scored by the Buffalo Bisons in every home game of the 2014 season.

“We are thrilled to be joining two great Buffalo institutions like First Niagara and the Buffalo Bisons downtown, and so grateful to these organizations for their generosity and partnership,” said Barbara Leggett, executive director of Explore & More. “What a wonderful example of how this is truly the City of Good Neighbors.”

“First Niagara believes in making our community a better place, and that starts with our youth,” said Buford Sears, First Niagara Buffalo Market Executive. “We are proud to partner with the Bisons and Explore & More Children’s Museum to create learning opportunities that spark imagination, curiosity and creativity for children and their families.”

Celebrating its 20th year in operation, Explore & More Children’s Museum provides an environment for creative play and learning through hands-on exhibits, activities and programs that inspire creativity, curiosity and imagination. Explore & More has been nationally recognized for its cultural programming, most recently, as recipients of the Association for Children’s Museum’s MetLife Promising Practices Award.

Explore & More Children’s Museum is currently located at 300 Gleed Ave. in East Aurora, and is planning a move and expand to Canalside on the Buffalo waterfront in 2016. For more information, www.exploreandmore.org or call 655-5131.
