Fourteen students from Wilson High School participated in the Area All State music festivals in Fredonia and Akron on Nov. 17.

The students were selected by undergoing a rigorous selection process.

First, they auditioned on a select piece of music and sight read music to demonstrate their theoretical skills.

The highest scores from three area counties were sorted, and only the top performers were chosen.

Congratulations to music instructor Claudia Andres and the following students, Jessica Dell’Aria, Brianne Hain, Bonnie Milczarski, Adam Murray, Caitlyn Boyle, Haylee Clark, Nathan Keil, Max Schultz, Wes Trank, Kevin Wiesinger, Anna Tuttle and Steven Winquist.

Additionally, junior high students Sally Speck and Brianna Bagwell performed in Akron on Nov. 17, as part of the Junior High Area All State Chorus.
