Free art exhibition in Wilson

Starting Saturday, Nov. 3 and ending Nov. 9, the Wilson Lions Club of Western New York and the Wilson Middle School will be mounting a exhibition of posters in the annual Lions International Peace Poster Contest.

Entry is free and open to all. The exhibition officially opens at 7 p.m. Nov. 3, inside the Wilson House Restaurant and Inn at 300 Lake St., Wilson.

Posters have been created by artists of ages 11, 12 and 13 from the Wilson Middle School.

This is the 25th anniversary year. The grand prizewinner and their parents are flown to New York where they are presented with increased prize of $5,000 at the United Nations. Twenty-four runners up are awarded prizes of $500 each.
