Evans Agency hosts third annual WNY Farm Show at Fairgrounds

BY: Felice E. Krycia-associate editor | January 30, 2013

The Evans Agency will host the Western New York Farm Show at the Hamburg Fairgrounds on Thursday, Feb. 7 and Friday, Feb. 8 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., and new Saturday hours this year on Saturday, Feb. 9 from 9:00 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Regional farm owners, landscapers, agribusinesses, and anyone with a general interest in the agricultural industry are invited to attend this admission-free trade show. Free on-site parking will be available for the show, which will include well over 100 exhibitors.

Planned events include a Skid Steer Rodeo, an online youth dairy judging contest for ages 21 and younger, equipment demos and tryouts, DOT Regulations Seminar presented by New York State Police and Erie County Farm Bureau, a large equipment auction by Roy Teitsworth, and complimentary reviews of insurance policies including farmowner, crop, agribusiness package, commercial and personal auto. WYRK 106.5FM Radio will be on site with Clay Moden for live broadcasts.

“The Evans Agency is excited to host our 3rd annual Western New York Farm Show,” stated Alan Butzer, account executive for The Evans Agency, and producer of the WNY Farm Show. “This show demonstrates our continued commitment to agriculture, and allows us to give something back to the agricultural industry in this area. The Evans Agency does not profit from this show. All net proceeds from vendor participation directly support agricultural youth, 4-H, and FFA activities.”

The Western New York Farm Show brings together farmers and their suppliers for the betterment of both, while providing educational opportunities and promoting agriculture.

For more details on the event, or information on becoming an exhibitor, please contact Alan Butzer at The Evans Agency at 780-8109, or abutzer@evansagencyins.com, and be sure to visit the farm show website at www.wnyfarmshow.com.
