Gain experience by seeing the theatre from behind the curtain

BY: Metro Source Staff | November 08, 2012

Riviera Theatre & Performing Art Center invites those who are interested in joining the Junior Board of Directors to attend the upcoming meeting and see what the theatre has in store for the incoming season.

Sitting on the Junior Board of Directors provides an opportunity to those high school juniors and seniors and college age students to experience what goes on behind the curtain.

The experience allows students to have a voice in making theatre decisions, looks good on a college application, work with high school or college students from around the region, be part of the theatres future, provides volunteer hours and it looks great on a college application.

The theatre is looking for students from all majors who are able to attend monthly meetings.

A monthly meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12 at the Riviera Theatre & Performing Art Center. All interested persons are invited to attend the meeting.

To learn more, log onto www.RivieraTheatre.Org/JuniorBoardApplication.

Applications are available on-line, or by calling 692-2413 for more information.
