M&T Bank accepting town and county taxes

BY: The Sun Staff | February 06, 2013

M&T Bank announced that taxpayers in the Town of Hamburg will again have a more convenient method to pay their town and county taxes.

Tax payments made in person will be accepted at all three M&T Bank branches located in the Town of Hamburg in addition to the town clerk’s office located in Town Hall, 6100 South Park Ave., Hamburg.

The three branches accepting payments will be: 23 Lake Ave., Blasdell; 5771 Camp Road, Hamburg and 6000 South Park Ave., Hamburg. Payments will be accepted until Feb. 15, the final day for payment without penalty.

This agreement was orchestrated between M&T Bank and Town Clerk/ Tax Receiver Cathy A. Rybczynski in an effort to provide the Town of Hamburg taxpayers with more options and convenient methods of payment for taxes. “In a time when local governments are forced to do more with less, we are delighted to leverage our valuable relationship with M&T Bank to increase efficiency and provide additional convenience to the Town of Hamburg taxpayers,” Rybczynski said.
