Send a letter to Santa at the North Pole

BY: Metro Source Staff | November 17, 2012

NORTH TONAWANDA - Each year, children spend months wondering what they will ask Santa to bring them on Christmas morning.

Will they ask for a bicycle?

A new video game?

Or for their parents health to get better?

Only Santa will know the answer to those questions.

This year, Santa will begin answering letters beginning Dec. 1. As part of the Letters to Santa Program, the North Tonawanda Youth, Recreation and Parks Department will offer this service free of charge to North Tonawanda residents.

The annual program is geared toward encouraging children to write their own letters to Santa indicated their Christmas wish list. Santa would also love a picture if possible.

Santa’s elves will try their hardest to respond to each letter. However, due to the busy season only letter from individual children will get a response.

His elves ask that the final date to mail a letter to Santa is Monday, Dec. 10.

To send a letter to Santa, please mail to:

Santa Claus

500 Wheatfield St.

North Tonawanda, NY 14120

For those parents that wish to hand deliver a letter to Santa, they may do so by stopping by the Department of Youth, Recreation and Parks office at 500 Wheatfield St., by Tuesday, Dec. 11.

Letters will be sent back to children, directly from the North Pole.
