Phyllis Wasik and Clara Eberhardt, residents of Elderwood Health Care Center at Maplewood, are kicking off a drive to collect Instant mashed potatoes for City Mission's Hambone Express Christmas Dinner. The facility recently collected 140 cans of cranberry sauce for the Misson's Thanksgiving Dinner. Donations of any size box of instant potatoes may be dropped off at the lobby display at 225 Bennett Rd., Cheektowaga until Dec. 17.
