6th annual WNY Health Show to be held Feb. 24

Metro Group, Inc. is proud to announce their 6th Annual Western New York Health Expo, being held at The Event Center located in Hamburg, NY on Sunday, February 24th from 10 am to 3 pm.

The WNY Health Expo is proudly sponsored by Quest Diagnostics, AccelCare, and Best Fitness. Over 80 vendors from the local WNY health, wellness and medical community will be present.

This event is free to attend and open to the public. This year’s special attractions and demonstrations are the following: UB Dental’s “S-Miles to Go” Mobile Dental Clinic, National Center for Missing & Exploited Children providing Digital Child I.D. cards, Roswell Park Cancer Institute will be conducting their “Spit for the Cure”, American Red Cross Bloodmobile, various medical screenings such as blood pressure and visual acuity, along with CPR skills, muscle trigger therapy and chiropractic adjustments.

Special guests and demonstrations include Chef Binks from WGRZ’s “Healthy Zone” and Father Paul Seil from the popular local cooking show “Our Daily Bread”, who will be demonstrating how to prepare healthy entrees.

Other special attractions will be, Sparky the Fire Safety Dog and a special “Kids Corner” with various healthy activities.

WNY Health Magazine encourages attendees to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Food Bank of WNY.
