Those looking for unique one-of-a-kind holiday gifts will get the opportunity to find that perfect present.

The Art of Holiday Shopping and Happy Hour will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Dec. 7.

Presented by Lockport Main Street, Inc. and Market Street Art Center, the evening event will feature a variety of artists, vendors and crafters.

All of the artists that have studio space at Market Street Art Center will have their studios open and will be selling their work.

Other vendors will be sporadically placed throughout the center, offering many other items.

“There is an eclectic and good mix of folks during the event,” said Heather Peck. “There will be something for everyone.”

Vendors will have various items for sale, including fine art, homemade soap and lotions, chocolates, all natural pet items, treats and clothes, stationary sets, gift baskets, hand sewn aprons and pot holders, jewelry vendors and homemade candy apples and bark.

Free gift wrapping is available on all items.

The event will also feature live music and d’Vine Wine Bar will be providing a wine bar for people shopping to enjoy. Catered hors d’oeuvres will also be available.

“It’s a really nice shopping experience,” said Peck. “It will get people in the holiday spirit.”

This event will take the place of Miracle on Main Street, the event held the past few years by Lockport Main Street, Inc.

“We wanted to change it up a little and try something different,” said Peck.

The event will benefit both Lockport Main Street, Inc and MSCA.

Tickets for the Art of Holiday Shopping and Happy Hour are $25. Tickets include one free beverage ticket and hors d’oeuvres.

Tickets can be purchased by calling Peck at 434-0212, at the MSCA, 247 Market St., d’Vine Wine Bar, 80 Main St., or at Pallister House Floral and Fine Gifts, 41 East Ave.
