Bryan Scott of the Buffalo Bills to hold event for Pick Your Passion Foundation for the Arts

BUFFALO - Buffalo Bills linebacker Bryan Scott announced a holiday fund-raiser event to benefit his Pick Your Passion Foundation for the Arts. An “Evening with the Arts” will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10 at Artisan Kitchens and Baths.

Evening with the Arts is a night dedicated to celebrating the music, art and culinary avenues that Buffalo has to offer. This exclusive cocktail style event will include interactive cooking stations with some of the best chefs in Buffalo, live music, art displays and a silent auction.

All proceeds raised for this event will go towards foundation programming including expanding ARTventure, a key foundation initiative launched this fall where students in the Buffalo area are provided with unique experiences surrounding the arts.

“This semester, I feel like we are truly raising awareness for the arts through ARTventure,” said Scott. “Our goal is to continue to increase the number of students we are able to have participate and take on ARTventure trips and help students gain exposure to the arts when they otherise may not have been able to.”

Scott created the Pick Your Passion Foundation for the Arts in 2005 as a means of giving back to his hometown of Philadelphia and NFL hometowns of Atlanta and Buffalo.

The foundation’s mission is to encourage opportunities for the art education while encouraging kids to pursue their areas of passion, whatever that may be.

“I am excited about the chance to spend an evening with my teammates and the Buffalo community celebrating the arts and giving back to the kids in this area,” said Scott.
