BUFFALO - Standouts of the Buffalo area’s rich dining scene will be donating a portion of their receipts of Tuesday, Nov. 13 to Family Promise of WNY, the local non-profit that helps homeless families get back on their feet,

Dine Our for a Promise has enlisted the generosity of Salvatore’s Italian Gardens, 6461 Transit Road, Buffalo’s Best Grill, 3700 Southwestern Blvd., the Library, Maple Entertainment Complex, 4224 Maple Road, and La Dolce Vita, 1472 Hertel ave.

Money raised from Dine Out supports the vital mission of Family Promise of WNY, which weds the determination of staffers and a motivated base of community volunteers to restore dignity to homeless families and build a solid foundation of stability.

Dine Out for a Promise coincides with National Homeless Awareness Week, Nov. 10 through 18. In Erie County alone, families make up nearly 40 percent of all homeless.
